At IntegraDev, we know that it takes longer than a lifetime to become the perfect developer. So, we understand that learning doesn’t end when you complete your degree. That’s why we have developed a strong mentoring process to ensure that you have the opportunity to continue to learn and improve, on the job, every day you work with us. Of course, as your skills develop and mature, the time will come when you will mentor others.
We believe the relationship between industry and educational institutions is critical. We help out in numerous forums, including high schools and universities, to support their work in educating students in the technology streams. We have a long association with our local university, Swinburne. This includes being a part of the Swinburne Computer Science and Software Engineering (CSSE) Course Advisory Committee.
We have also supported the Swinburne Professional Placements program over the last 25 years. Some of these internships have worked out so well that, after graduating, the students returned to IntegraDev as full-time employees.
As part of our commitment to fostering continued education, we sponsor the following
Faculty of Science, Engineering and Technology, Final Year - James Wauchope Award
James was an IT student at Swinburne University before joining us as a software developer. Presented to the best final year student in Bachelor of Computer Science (Professional) at Swinburne University every year, the James Wauchope award is in honour of our colleague, who lost his fight against cancer in December 2000.
